Imagine One is seeking candidates to support a recent contract award to provide support to the US Navy. We are looking for Computer Tool Operator to support Batch runs in the Norfolk area for a large family of shore based maintenance applications.  Work will be performed in Norfolk, Virginia.

DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS, IDENTIFYING BOTH ESSENTIAL AND MARGINAL DUTIES:   
 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Organizational skills that will aid in the scheduling and executing of multiple batch processes for the UNIX environments in support of Hosted applications.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation on Shell Scrips and batch processes
• Work with Virtual desktop environments
• Manually import and export data
• Established procedures of communication and verification for internal staff and hosted applications.
• Create and maintain documentation on Shipyard applications and impacts
• Training of new team members.
• Work with SPAWAR IT technicians and project technicians as it relates to monitoring, latency checks for project servers and troubleshooting resolution fixes.
• Effectively communicate and escalate any events and incidents.
• Create 311/SPAWAR HelpDesk tickets to document incidents and track progress and resolution.
• Assist with lifecycle oversight of Change, Problem and Incident management actions to ensure implementations are completed in accordance with established timeframes.
• Utilize internal systems to report incidents to leadership.
• Responsible for generating well-documented Status Reports for leadership.

Experience Requirements:  

• Help Desk and NOC operating processes
•  IT infrastructure
• Developing and writing ITIL processes
• Virtual Desk Desktop experience
• Database Experience
• Security + CE Certification
• Navy shore-based maintenance business processes, customers and applications, is desirable but not required.

 
Educational Requirements: 

• HS diploma
• An Associate or Bachelor Degree in a related field is highly desired

Security Requirements:  

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Secret clearance required
